General Earth Movers Limited (GEML) was established in 1985 as a limited liability construction firm.  The business was previously operated under Thackorie Transport Limited and Randolph Thackorie Transport Limited for forty (40) years from 1945-1985 before a name change to General Earth Movers Limited therefore our total experience spans some seventy-six (76) years in construction in Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Since this time GEML has undergone a number of changes in the positive direction to become a dominant player as a civil engineering company for a diverse set of civil services and sectors throughout Trinidad and Tobago and other Caribbean region.
 

GEML offers a variety of integrated construction services such as bridge construction and repair, road construction and repair, potable & wastewater treatment plant, land development, industrial plant construction and upgrade, building construction, other civil engineering works and equipment rental to both the public and private sectors. GEML has established its office in San Fernando and employs an average staff of three hundred and eighty (380) persons, consisting of engineers, technicians, surveyors, supervisors, foremen, equipment operators, safety officers, skilled and unskilled labour.
